Social media strategist is responsible for producing creative visual materials that reflect the school’s identity and values. This role supports the marketing, admissions, and academic departments by creating engaging designs for both digital and print media to promote the school’s programs, events, and community initiatives. The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of how design supports communication within an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Handling :
Manage and maintain the school’s official social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to ensure consistent posting and engagement
Monitor audience interactions, respond to comments or inquiries when needed, and maintain a positive and professional online presence
Analyze social media performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for content improvement
Ensure that all social media visuals, captions, and hashtags reflect the school’s brand tone, values, and identity
Collaborate with the marketing or admissions team to align social media activities with enrollment and promotional goals
Social Media Planning :
Develop a monthly content plan and posting calendar in coordination with the marketing and communication teams
Brainstorm creative campaign ideas for key school events, announcements, and student achievements
Design visual assets (graphics, videos, and animations) tailored to each platform’s requirements
Ensure a balanced mix of promotional, informational, and community-centered content to maintain audience engagement
Stay updated on current trends and best practices in educational and youth-oriented social media content
School Documentation :
Capture high-quality photos and videos of school events, classroom activities, and daily student life to document the school’s culture and milestones
Organize and maintain a digital archive of photos and videos for easy access and future use
Edit and enhance visuals to produce professional-quality documentation materials
Provide media support during school events (e.g., open houses, graduations, performances, and competitions)
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design Communication (DKV), or related field
Experience in content creation on Instagram, preferably about brand promotions
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut, and Adobe Premiere.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance and pleasant personality
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Comfortable working in a school environment and engaging with educators, students, and parents
Having a Responsible to Life attitude
