Marketing Communication Officer

The Marketing Communication Officer is responsible for building the school’s image, enhancing its visibility, and driving sustainable growth through effective communication and strategic initiatives. This role supports the school’s mission by strengthening relationships with parents, partners, and the broader community while implementing marketing strategies that promote student enrollment, school programs, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing, Branding & Promotion : 

  • Strengthen the school’s brand identity through consistent visual, written, and digital messaging

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for admission periods, school events, and program highlights

  • Conduct market research to understand parent needs, local trends, and competitor positioning

Public Relations & Community Engagement : 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, alumni, local communities, and educational partners

  • Manage the school’s public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and community visibility

  • Represent the school in education fairs, open houses, and outreach events to enhance the school’s public presence

  • Plan and organize school promotional events, and ensure effective post-event communication and documentation

Business Development & Enrollment Growth : 

  • Identify and develop new opportunities for partnership and collaboration that support the school’s growth objectives

  • Support the school’s enrollment and student intake strategy through targeted marketing and parent engagement activities

  • Collaborate with academic and admission teams to ensure smooth communication and consistent messaging to prospective families

  • Develop proposals and initiatives that enhance the school’s visibility and strengthen market positioning

  • Monitor and evaluate marketing and enrollment performance, preparing regular reports and improvement recommendations

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communication, Public Relations, or related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development - preferably in the education sector or service industry

  • Experience in brand management, school marketing, or enrollment growth strategies is highly valued

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and campaigns effectively

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Bahasa Indonesia)

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and networking skills

  • Creative thinker with strong planning and analytical skills

  • Adaptable and proactive in problem solving

  • Professional, creative, and committed to excellence

  • Strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and integrity

  • Able to work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, and parents

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
